Privacy policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LOB ("LOB", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website, applications, and related services (the "Platform").

By using the Platform, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent for specific processing such as marketing emails. This policy should be read together with our Terms of use.

1. Who we are

LOB operates the Platform that helps padel players discover and join games, and helps organisers, coaches, and clubs publish events, manage registrations, and display live results.

For privacy enquiries, contact us at privacy@lobpros.com.

2. Data we collect

We collect information in three main ways: you provide it, we collect it automatically, and we receive it from others.

Account and profile data includes your name, email address, password hash, profile photo, city, skill level, handle, and preferences you set in your account.

Event and registration data includes games you join or host, partner selections, payment status, waitlist position, and messages or notes related to registrations.

Payment data is processed by our payment partners. We receive transaction references, amounts, currency, and payment status — not your full card number.

Usage and device data includes IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and actions taken on the Platform, collected through logs and similar technologies.

Communications includes support requests, feedback, and notification preferences.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • create and manage your account;
  • process registrations, pair entries, and payments;
  • display rosters, live standings, and event results to participants and organisers;
  • send transactional messages such as confirmations, partner invites, and waitlist updates;
  • send marketing communications where you have opted in or where permitted by law;
  • improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Platform;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

5. How we share data

We share personal data only as needed to operate the Platform, including with:

  • Event organisers and hosts — when you register for their games, they receive the information needed to run the event;
  • Other players — your name, avatar, and level may appear on public rosters and leaderboards for events you join;
  • Service providers — hosting, email, analytics, and payment processors under contract;
  • Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. How long we keep data

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements.

When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to data portability.

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, email privacy@lobpros.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Platform is used.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect how the Platform works.

9. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms required by applicable law.

10. Children

The Platform is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure providers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong password and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
